Return and / or Cancellation Policy & Procedure

1. Cooling-Off Right (Electronic Communications and Transactions Act)

In accordance with the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), you as a consumer are entitled to a general right to return goods within 7 days after delivery, for any reason and without penalty.

However:

  • You will be responsible for the cost of returning the goods

  • A handling fee may apply as outlined below

2. Cancellation of Orders

You are entitled to cancel any purchase of a product or service within 7 days (cooling-off period) from the date the item was delivered.

  • After the 7-day cooling-off period has expired, no cancellations will be accepted

  • Cancellation requests must be submitted within the allowed timeframe

3. Conditions for Returns

To qualify for a return under the cooling-off period:

  • Goods must be unused

  • Items must be in their original packaging

  • All labels and accessories must be intact

  • The return must be initiated within 7 days of delivery

4. Handling Fee

A 10% handling fee will be charged on all cancellations under the cooling-off period.

5. Return Shipping Costs

  • Delivery/return shipping costs for unwanted items are for the purchaser’s account

  • We recommend using a trackable courier service, as we are not responsible for lost returns

6. Refunds

  • Refunds will be processed within 30 days of cancellation

  • Refunds are subject to:

    • The 10% handling fee

    • Any applicable delivery or return costs

Refunds will only be issued once the returned goods have been received and inspected, and confirmed to meet the return conditions.

Refunds will be processed via the original payment method (e.g., PayFast, PayPal, EFT or Shopify Payments where applicable).

7. Non-Compliance

If you fail to comply with the provisions of this policy, Legacy Billiards reserves the right to:

  • Refuse the return, or

  • Deduct reasonable fees and expenses incurred

8. Defective or Incorrect Items

If you receive a defective, damaged, or incorrect item:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery

  • Provide supporting evidence (photos/videos)

In such cases, we will:

  • Replace the item, or

  • Provide a full refund (including delivery costs, where applicable)

9. Order Cancellation by Legacy Billiards

Legacy Billiards reserves the right to cancel and refund any order at our discretion, including but not limited to:

  • Stock unavailability

  • Pricing errors

  • Suspected fraudulent activity

  • Such orders will be cancelled immediately

  • Refunds will be processed within 7 business days
